Tre Vänner acquires rights to Karin Fossum’s books
19 March, 2012Tre Vänner has acquired the rights to Karin Fossum’s ten books in the series about Konrad Seijer.
- The right to Karin Fossum’s books has received a lot of international interest and the films will also be launched internationally, says Tre Vänner’s CEO Jonas Fors. But even if the main target is the international audience, the films also aim at the Norwegian audience, and the films will be shot in Norway, says Jonas Fors.

Our missing colleague
10 October, 2011Our friend and colleague, Daniel Lind Lagerlöf, who was due to direct a film in our series The Fjällbacka Murders, based on the novels by Camilla Läckberg, disappeared on Thursday afternoon during preparations for the filming. Efforts to find him continued until Saturday evening when the police discontinued the search.
“In this extremely tragic and difficult situation our thoughts are above all with Daniel’s family,” says Tre Vänners’ CEO Jonas Fors. “First and foremost, we are doing everything we can to assist the family, our colleagues and the police in their efforts. Work on the film is continuing and we are reviewing how to proceed. At the same time, scope must be allowed for the mourning process.”
“I am deeply shaken and saddened by what has happened and my thoughts go out to Daniel’s family,” says Camilla Läckberg. “Daniel is an incredibly talented director and this tragic event defies comprehension,” she says.
The family politely declines all media contact.
