About this production:

Svensson Svensson - In sickness and in health is this autumns great Swedish comedy about love and football. In the leading roles we see Suzanne Reuter and Allan Svensson, and in other roles we see Peter Dalle, Torkel Petersson, Marie Robertson and Ralf Edström. Svensson Svensson is being produced in cooperation with Nordisk Film, SVT and Film i Väst.  Leif Lindblom has directed the film and producer is Pontus Sjöman, pontus.sjoman@trevanner.se

Svensson, Svensson is the most popular sit-com ever to have been aired on Swedish television. The series was created by Tre Vänner founders Michael Hjorth, Tomas Tivemark and Johan Kindblom, and we have seen Allan Svensson and Suzanne Reuter in the roles of the couple Gustav and Lena Svensson since the beginning. The series was broadcasted for four seasons between 1994 and 2008. Each episode had about 2 million viewers and as many as 3.395 million people watching. The series has received national and international awards including the following: three-time winner of Aftonbladet’s prize for “Best TV series”, winner of “Best Comedy” at the San Francisco Golden Gate Awards, Finalist for “Rose d’Or” in Montreux. The series has sold internationally to amongst other: Norway, Finland, Denmark, The Netherlands, Poland and Estonia.
