About this production:
Snabba Cash premiered on January 15th 2010 and received raving reviews and was a smash hit at the box office with 620 000 admissions – making it the Number One Swedish film of the year. Snabba Cash won three Guldbagge (Golden Beetle) awards 2011 for best male actor, best photography and best casting.
The remake rights has been acquired by Warner Bros. and a US version of the film is currently in development by producer Charles Roven (The Dark Knight, Batman begins, Twelve Monkeys) with Zac Efron attached in the lead role as JW.
Snabba cash film has also been an international success and has so far been sold to more than 30 countries.
