About this production:

Tre Vänner is in the process of writing a manuscript for the cinematisation of Bamse. The film is based on Rune Andréasson’s much loved Swedish comic series, Bamse – the strongest bear in the world, and will follow him, Shellman and Little Hop on a brand new adventure through Goblin Forest and into the City of Thieves to save Grandma from the evil Reynard Fox.

Rune Andréasson created Bamse in the 1960s. Since the series began Bamse comics have been read by children and adults all over Sweden, generation after generation, and today it is still one of the most widely read publications in its genre. The comics are currently published by Egmont Kärnan/BAMSE förlaget AB.
